I’ve been doing Pilates for over ten years and started working with Karen nine months ago after having a baby. I immediately fell in love. Karen’s attention to detail and form are unmatched, not to mention her sessions are fun and engaging. Since working with her, I have learned how to properly breathe, engage my core, and correctly do exercises I’ve been doing for years. Karen has without a doubt helped me perfect my practice and I’m so grateful to her for it.

Working with Karen is one of the best gifts I could have given myself postpartum. After an emergency C-section, I wanted to rebuild my body following a truly traumatic experience, and Karen has been incredible every step of the way. We have been working with Karen via Zoom since March of 2020. Working with her has been a true bright spot for us during an otherwise difficult time. We have both suffered from back pain and other injuries over the years and Karen has been instrumental in helping both of us recover. We leave our workouts feeling stronger and better in our bodies (and also exhausted in the best way).

I was going to Physical Therapy twice a week for many months and now I am down to weekly sessions with the hope of being able to graduate soon. This never would have happened without Karen’s help.

Karen is an incredibly talented Pilates teacher and fitness health coach. She changed my life after I had a slip and fall injury that left me unable to workout without pain. She completely committed herself to my recovery. She brings an expert level of knowledge to each session. She stays motivated for me and continues to evolve my fitness program which she meticulously crafts for the specific issues I am having.

Her style of teaching focuses on both setting long term goals as well as detailed corrections that along the way ensure I am safe doing the workouts. At all times she is engaged and focused. I can’t imagine a more dedicated expert that is so motivating and positive to work with. Her knowledge is vast, her enthusiasm is felt, and her fun nature makes the hour go by quickly regardless of how hard she is making me work.

She has truly saved me and prepared me to be able to go out into the world and have confidence again to do the sports I love. I 100% recommend Karen as an amazing trainer.

Karen has been an absolute godsend. At every session, she arrives with thoughtful new exercises, making the most of our time together while intuitively adapting to whatever my body needs that day. Working with Karen is such a gift. My private sessions have delivered consistent, noticeable results in just a few months. Her sessions are challenging, focused, and expertly designed. Karen has an intuitive understanding of what my body needs on any given day. When I’ve experienced injuries, she has helped me return to exercise safely and efficiently.

Conversely, when l’ve come to the session injury free, she has challenged me a perfect amount. I have seen real improvements in my strength, especially in my core - including visible abdominal definition for the first time in my life. I have been doing Pilates and physical therapy with various talented practitioners for just shy of twenty years and can confidently say that Karen is the best instructor I have worked with. Due to a chronic joint condition, my pain fluctuates but Karen adapts easily and modifies the exercise plan in response to whatever my body is feeling that day. I feel safer with her than with other practitioners because she carefully listens to my feedback and adjusts accordingly. Finally, she always has her eye on progression so I do not get stuck at one level of functionality. When I first came to Karen, I was not doing much aerobic exercise at all but now I ride the bike regularly and just did an 8.6 mile hike!
